Levitation Metallurgical Equipment(Induction Cold Crucible Levitation Melting Furance)uses a Water Cooled Crucible(Cold Crucible) that does not react with the melt under vacuum or inert atmosphere in an induction coils, the electromagnetic field will levitate the liquid metal pool during melting,therefore no crucible contamination,no chemical cross contamination, also eliminate gas contamination. It is an ideal melting,refining,alloying and casting equipment for reactive metals and alloys, refractory metals and alloys, ultrapure metals, precious metals and alloys, and other metals.
Principle:
The Electromagnetic field produced by the induction coil, that passes through the cold crucible which is made up of water-cooled segments to produce the induced eddy current, the eddy current produce heat and melt the metal, meanwhile, the eddy interact with magnetic line of force so that produce their vertical electromagnetic force which support and levitate the molten metal pool.
