What is Levitation Metallurgy?

Levitation Metallurgy refers to the material production and processing technology which uses the levitation melting as core technology and combined with casting, directional solidification, zone refining,distillation, etc,it is an ideal technology which levitates the liquid metal pool during melt under the vacuum or inert atmosphere,no crucible contamination.

Levitation Metallurgy has a wide application as follows:

1. Reactive Metals and Alloys production
e.g RE metals and alloys,Ti & Ti alloys,Uranium-earth,Alkaline-earth metals and alloys

2. Ultrapure Metals and Alloys production
